    The headlight seems to have a few dents in the rim, and the front suspension
    appears to have less scope for travel than would ordinarily be considered
    useful.

    The Vincent had an arrangement of levers above the front wheel. You need a
    compensator, really.

    It's also got the silly sort of arrangement with little link rods. BMW did
    it much better on the /5 and some /6s which have the outer cable stopping at
    the one brake operating lever on the backplate and the inner going on to the
    other. Automatic balance between the 2 shoes and only one adjustment to
    make. I can't for the life of me see why everyone doesn't do it, unless
    perhcance BMW patented it...
