Frozen clutch, stuck in gear

So there isn't really any way the timing could have been messed up whe
tightening the inner clutch hub? I had the bike in gear and blocked th
tire up. I was thinking maybe the signal generator rotor on th
crankshaft may be the problem. But if there is no chance of this, tha
would be great. Also, just for curiousity, would the whole electrica
system fail when the circuit breaker trips, or just the ignition?
will try to start the bike like you have said. I looked at the roto
and all on the crankshaft today, but didn't really have a chance t
mess with it or anything. Other than a running inspection, the bike i
    good to go now :)

    Thanks again,
    Bil

  2. No, torquing the inner clutch hub nut will not affect the signal
generator in any way---unless maybe you loosened the nut that secures
the rotor onto the end of the crankshaft. You didn't mess with that nut
did you, trying to turn the engine over with a wrench? In the CW
direction all that would happen is that you'd be trying to tighten the
nut that's already tight. If you adjust the valves, you can use that
nut to turn the engine over, in the CW direction only, with the spark
plugs out of the engine is best...

Also, just for curiousity, would the whole electrical
Everything is dead on my GSXR-750 when the circuit breaker trips.
That's never happened to me though.
