Front plates > any more than this ?

    They never had 'mounting points' on the guard. The number plate kit
    required drilling the front guard to fit. However the front mudguard
    was 'designed' to be strong enough to handle those number plate holders
    (and at one point they were offered as a factory option).

    They would have to recommence making the kits but the bike is fine :)

    If you can't work it out, there's nothing I can do about it at this
    point, that problem should have been identified and dealt with by your
    primary school English teacher many decades ago.
