As title, looking for a front paddock stand for a CBR600RR3, preferably
    next day delivery.

Had a look at the Harris website but doesn't appear to list CBR600RR
2003 as a supported model. Also fails on the next day delivery thing
too. Although the Race front under-yoke type paddock looks just the
    business !

I've got a Micron rear paddock stand but I'm struggling to get details
on whether the Micron front will work with my bike.

Reason for this is the usual local dealer lack of staff available to do
it for me when I can get the bike to them. If I can bring the wheel
they'll do it whilst I wait.

Can't go elsewhere because the tyre was a special order.

And the googled ukrm plank of wood under the sump solution is not going
    to happen.

I just put an axle stand under each fork leg.

Tilt over on side stand, prop fork leg with axle stand
    remove wheel
listen to crash as bike falls just as you walk away ;-(

A bit of a PITA getting the belly pan off the fairing first I suppose,
but I don't see why it shouldn't work then.

When I did the rear wheel last week I had a little scare manouvring the
bike on the rear paddock stand so I could lock the garage door.

If it starts to become a hassle , I'd rather wait for the local dealer
to do it. I'd have to drop it off the night before and pick it up the
next evening and when the sun is shining and the roads are dry it's
criminal to have the bike off the road for a day. Problem is I don't
think the front tyre will wait for the next wet day :-( .

Abba stand and either a jack under the engine - there's usually a gap
as Champ said - or hang heavy things off the tail using a tie-down
strap slung carefully over the tailpiece / pillion seat, if it has
    one.

Years ago I used to balance a couple of spare LC wheels rather
precariously on the backs of bikes (on their centre stands) to raise
    the front end.
