We were off to see Alan do a 1/2 Marathon[1] in Sheffield today, so optd
for a nice wet ride over the Woodhead on the Pegaso.

As we passed the Meadowhall, I filtered to the front of a queue and
noticed th right hand lane would disappear quickly.

The car in it was reving and itching to go.

So, when the lights changed I did what I always do, I just hit it.

But this was the light Pegaso, 2 up.

Boy did the front end go light, I was contemplating changing gear, but
was mindful that Jean was on the back, so let it drop down, nearly lofted
it again in second and then settled.

All I could hear from Jean was laughter. Top lass or what ?

Not sure about the 2 cars that had been next to me, I bet the had shit it
    a touch.

Too right if I do stuff like that Judy punches me in the ribs and
    issues a stern "Behave yourself"
