Fron Number Plate Petition

At the risk of incurring everyone's "already seen it" wrath, I recently
came across this (so to speak).

It looks like they are going to charge bike riders for tolls on the eastern
freeway extention regardless of whether there is a front number plate or
not.
They claim they have the technology to photograph both front and the back of
the bike

 

Citylink has had the required technology installed for several years.

I'm not sure that's possible.

 

I'm sure they do - it's called "use your brain and point the camera in
the right direction".

What sort of bloody idiot would force thousands of people to undertake a
useless change at great expense, when just a handful of cameras being
turned 180 degrees would achieve the same result for next to nothing?

 

If you think about it, it's more like 120 degrees, but since I won on
the cruise control issue I'll let this one slide.
