    Thing is, to get the fuel to do this and eat nice food, heat your house
    to a comfortable level, run a fridge, go on holiday, that sort of
    shit...

    See, the odd seabird is going to die. Some otters too, I shouldn't be
    surprised. Maybe the occasional polar bear, who knows?

    Tough. We're smarter than them, such is life.

    Deal with it, or **** off to a cave to gnaw raw sinews and berries.

    Get back on your high horse, FFS. The link wasn't about the
    enviromental damage, there's a page on that site about the shore
    cleanup if I wanted to point out that.

    It's a chance to see the work they're doing and the way they have to
    do it. The ROV's, the tangles of control cables, the lack of vision,
    using huge claws from a Bionicle to do delecate tasks... It makes
    keyhole surgery seem simples.

    I think he means "sadly" in an anorak sense as opposed to an environmental
    one.
