    Motorcycle dangers
    From Mr Paul Smith

Sir, I am becoming increasingly alarmed at the rising number of motorcycle
deaths. These accidents, whether the fault of the motorcyclist or other road
users or even road conditions, are tragedies for a great many people. The
main problem seems to me to be the lack of protection a motorcyclist has.
I wonder whether we should start looking at restricting the use of
motorcycles to, say, minor roads, or even banning them altogether?

    Yours faithfully,
    PAUL SMITH,

So that's a well informed opinion then...

That doesn't change my view, except maybe an old fuddy duddy going out
on a Sunday to work off his lunch.. No, they're still arrogant cunts.

    It stands to reason, really.

As a rule most motorcyclists exhibit an air of arrogance - a cockiness both
on and off the bike - that serves to counteract our increased
vulnerability - like a bird puffing it's chest out & spreading its wings a
little so as to appear larger to its prey.

And we do that even though we're garmed up with protective clothing and ride
vehicles easily capable of keeping up with the flow of the traffic.

So it's little wonder that cyclists, in their lycra romper-suits and tap
shoes riding paper-clip framed bicycles, are like us ^ 10.

Wankers - the lot of them.)

Clearly cycling is a front for not very brave, would-be transsexuals.

And that would help how? If anything, it would just confirm his opinions.
His email is there too if you're really keen.

Now were they sensible indicating WHY he's not got a clue, then maybe - but
I still doubt he'd change his mind.

I wouldn't waste an email on a **** with blinkered vision. I agree with WC
    in his reply above.
Well as they published it I reckon it was a debate opener. But as to why
he's not got a clue eludes me as there are't any replies to the letter yet
puublished either from hte editorial staff or public. But then again does it
really need a reply to prove anythiung
