I had the same experience, a few weeks ago, with a Nitro.......
Mine will do, until I get round to buying a new lid.

Heh. I'm looking for a new lid too. I can feel the plastic trembling

Me too - do you know anyone who stocks Uvex lids in London? I fancy
    trying out a double-glazed jobbie..

    Cheers

Here Loz, do you know where I can get hold of some daytona boots up
    north?

    I ordered some from Deutschland - www.louis.de

Got some Evo Riders GTX for £200 equivalent (£350 RRP) which are
excellent and seem like they'd protect well in a crash cos of the hard
inner shell. Not tested yet though.

How did you find out what size to order? Is it easy enough to work
out, or did you just take a guess?

I don't know of anyone in London, but Moores of Hemel Hempstead do.

I just ordered some in my usual shoe size and hoped that Daytona boots
fit sensibly. Shoe size converter here:
    http://convertalot.org/shoes.html

Seems that Daytonas do have pretty normal sizing, I'd say a smidgin on
    the large side.

Lozzo emerged from their own little world to say
This query originated on the ukgser.co.uk forums. The OP has made some
    enquiries. Quote:
    "Found Them!
I just spoke to TranAm. Very nice people. They knew all about the glove,
but interestingly haven't pushed it because they are so new at the
    Daytona game.

The UK retail price for the glove is £90

They suggested I speak to the biggest UK dealer for Daytona boots - GLF
near Bedford on 01525 717009. When I called them the chap's response was
"Daytona make gloves? Wow, they must be good". He is now going off to
investigate more but confirmed that he could get them at a couple of
days notice. They might even take some up to the NEC. Result.

b.t.w. GLF's shop will be closed from 2nd November until the end of the
NEC show in case you are thinking of getting in contact with them.

Infinity are also big Daytona dealers and they should be able to get the
    gloves as well."

    wessie says...
In all fairness to Graham, he may well not have been informed by the
previous importer that there were plans to make a Daytona glove. I would
imagine this would be the case, as Gaham is about the most on-the-ball
salesman I've ever met. He can only impart that information he is given.

H's right though, if daytona do a glove, you'll know it'll be good.
