Oohhhh, Kamchatka is supposed to be fabulous - a few folk on the Kazakh trek
had done Kamchatka too. *Very* isolated apparently.

 

Can't be that isolated - it's on the Risk board.....

Sure, Siberia in Winter. Great idea. There better be a direct flight, like
over the North Pole or something. If we've got to go to Moscow first,
forget about it. That's a *long* way.

OK well, May sounds a little better.

Being on Aeroflot doesn't bother me. Just being on planes for 15 hours
bothers me. It's probably only 4 hours if we could head over the pole.

 

I saw an Artic Fox[1] in Canada last month.

[1] It was white, and a fox, so I made an assumption.

 

Could have been an albino fox. ;-)

 

Plus the 5 to Moscow, but I guess there'll be an overnight in both
directions to break things up.

It wasn't towing a trailer. I don't recall seeing a hitching point.

IIR it wasn't all pure white, it had brown (or dark) bits on it but I
can't specifically remember where abouts on it.

Forgot to add, this was in the middle of a gladed run at a ski resort.

 

Correction: you only need to be marginally quicker off the mark than
*one* of the party. Trip that fucker up and leg it yourself. Job's a
good 'un.
