The old war wound giving you gyp, or something new?

On no, nothing new, just that the recovery is still ongoing and taking
much longer than I hoped. Despite 60 days skiing this season the pain
and associated tiredness is still holding me back. Just did a rep's
refresher course and was graded purple/gold off-piste, solely down to
my inability to ski long, hard and fast all day. Still, I got a full
gold grading on-piste, which is good, so I'm quite happy with that,
but I just sometime wish I could do 'normal' stuff without it hurting
    all the time.

I can understand that (although not, thankfully, from personal
experience). The pain's bad enough, but on top of the pain you get
this long term weariness that saps your will and your ability to put
    up with it.

    In message
You would want to ride along with me. I have been told I am slow.

Arsebiscuits. I suppose the car isn't an option then as well.

Not really. I wouldn't want to ask Pat to do that much driving. In
fact, she'd have trouble staying awake!

Got your email before reading this thread. Oh dear. You can borrow the K
if you want, but if your hands are fecked...

Still, that means Pat will be doing all the washing up.

Thanks. I would add nice to have met you, but I can't remember your
face - only that we met! Old age, eh?

That is true. I suppose we're both determined to grow old
    disgracefully.

That's really unfortunate, I hope you both get better soon.

Shall those who are going this way meet at South Mymms services at about 8 -
    8.30 am?
