    Righty ho.

A covert elite clique (me and my mate Steve) are going on a little trip
through France, Spain, wherever, sometime in July-probably 3rd week for some
days of about 7-8 in number. A couple of ukrmers have expressed an interest.

This is neither the motogp, Star Boyz or a Tog Tour. It's a fairly high
mileage, nippyish jaunt to/round the Alps/Pyrenees involving some downtime
in bars and swimming pools. Possibly a villa may be involved.

If you're interested in coming pending further details, let me know and I'll
sort out a mailing list. DON'T email me at this address you'll be wasting
    your time.

No children, pillions or fat chicks.

She's taking the opportunity for some much needed flat-cleaning time.

I don't need to tell you it'll be warm. Based on this I'm not sure why
I just typed that, perhaps if I stop now no-one will notice. Nothing
    to see here.
Or fly-posters or buskers or touts.

Btw, let me know when you're going and I'll send you some of my jokes,
    to tide you over like.

Absolutely. It doesn't mean you can tamper with my breaks in France though.

I've just got back from riding to Spain for the MotoGP. Roads are ace. Can
I recommend the N152 over the Pyrenees. A bit nippy but beautiful with lots
    of curves.

On our way down we avoided all the peagé roads, but on the way back we took
them and did Barcelona to the Channel Tunnel in 15 hours, only stopping for
    fuel and snack breaks.

We were fortunate that the whether was great the whole week aswell, hope you
    have the same.

I'm impressed, I only saw you last Wednesday. Did you contact Steve
    about the bike?

Fluffy, you don't have a motorbicyclette.

  13. Not mine methinks. I'll be heading for Blighty on or around the 10th
July. Be there for 3 or 4 weeks trying to sell houses. Shame you
couldn't have made it later, as I'm currently trying to buy another
house with 5 bedrooms, just up the street. If it goes through, I should
    own it in August/September sometime.

    But you already knew this.

Ahh, may I humbly offer our own abode as a possible stopping place for
a night or three? As it seems it's going to be a while before the
terracing all gets finished I might as well make an AlsAceFest sooner
    rather than later...

I might even ride up and join you.

Already considered, since your hospitality was kind of taken for granted:)
The route is being planned as we speak and is either down through your neck
of the woods, maybe revisiting Barcelonette at some point or the other side
    to the Pyrenees.

There's also supposed to be some great biking roads in the Auverge
    area, SW of Clairmont-Ferrand, that I fancy doing - there's a volcano
crater a mile wide, or summat, which is s'posed to be quite
    spectacular.

So from mine I could imagine a day's ride into Burgundy - drink some
food, eat some wine and all, then another day through the Auverge,
perhaps as far as Cahors, then on to the Pyrenees...

Hmm, sounds almost like a plan. What dates you got in mind again?
