    Cheeky, crafty fuckers they are.

Coming home on a route that BD warned me about, I saw a police car just
by the exit of a side road and in the middle of the road (on a green
island) they were plonked behind a speed limit sign. You wouldn't see
the crafty fuckers until the last minute (they were very thin, see).

Quai Michelet, just before Pont d'Asnieres.

I got a hand warning to slow down. I was probably only doing slightly
under 70kph in a 50kph zone. Mind you, IME, it's harder for the old
bill to fix their cameras on bikes than cars. Especially if you're
    filtering.

If going North that's 70kph there (the other direction has a 50kph limit)

OK, then I'll have to worry because that's my commuting route these
days. OTOH in fair weather I use the pedal bike so I get to keep my
points, even if my riding isn't much street-legal (given the slopes in
Courbevoie I can even break speed limits...)
