Heh. Just been up the Hill buying some new waterproof boots. I'm
ready.

 

Last weekend was superb weather for Le-mans. It only rained on the Friday
night for the last 10 miles.

You are on drugs aren't you? My recent trip to Seville (from Paris)
cost me about €300 for myself and herself, via Iberia.

 

Just out of interest, I just looked up the cost of flying from Málaga to
Paris: 2,500 euros for the 2 of us.

But at the suggestion of Domènec, I am trying to get on the train from
Narbonne to Paris. I suspect I may be too late.

1000 km of motorways in rainy cold France. Lovely.

Doesn't make much difference, I looked at a site last week for the

and damp all Saturday and wasn't it raining on the Sunday too?

 

It was Waterworld. I've never ridden so far through rain so heavy.

 

It was awful, wasn't it? My gloves were still damp when we got off the

Normandy & Brittany. It was far too cold & wet to bother so I returned
to work early and took the days off latger in the year.

Riding in the wet I can do.

But 350 miles each way of non-stop carb icing?

Do what I did. Ride like an absolute **** for 20 mins - then pull over and
stop for 2/3 mins and off you go again. Should be enough to see you get to
the ferry/hotel etc along with everyone else.

Or just go out and buy a decent bike.

 

Go to Seville and catch a plane from there then.

 

No, I'll just ride the stupid bike.
