    Heh, they were a bargain price too. Werent they the next model up from
    the sprint, so they had the waterproof lining? Theyre brilliant,
    almost as good as the Altbergs! ;-)

    Mine dont, but then they do get the occasional coating of
    leathergrease or polish.

    I noticed this week that the bikes and scooters here[1] have taken
    to riding down the footpaths. Hadn't seen it before. Must be a French
    (WOCAB) thing.
