    I negotiated a price, then the dealer said "do you want to take the
    Kawasaki 0% offer over 2 years on that or pay cash."

    So as is only sensible I kept my cash in the savings account, where it's
    been earning 4% a year, but I could still pay the bike off whenever I
    want.

    The 996 was my worst impulse buy. Had a test ride for fun at the Glasgow
    Scotbike as Don was using it for his plaything that month. Came back, talked
    money and just left the 595 there.

    I doubt anyone would dispute that...however, the statement was

    "we've been rendered incapable of doing X because of Y"

    not

    "we've chosen to do Y instead of X"

    which is different.
