I haven't worked it out. I know I used 'a lot', and was riding 'quite fast'.

I got some miles from some fuel, giving me some miles per gallon.

Pretty much exactly what I expected really, though the "miles per fuel
    stop" figure was fairly abysmal.

Did you go on the old tyres, or stick with the Maxxis?

Had them swapped back on Tuesday, so the Maxxis hoops are sitting in the
garage for next time I need something sticky, and I've worn the old
quali rear down to the wear marker as expected.

Next up, a set of Pilot Road 3s to get me to Chimay and Brno.

I could have just about got away with one stop a day - we only did 110
miles on Saturday, and fairly slowly at that.

On which note: Boots, your speedo is a bit shonky - the fastest I went
all day Friday was 99, and 84 on Saturday's trundle, according to Mr
    Garmin.

I don't bother working out my fuel consumption to an exact figure but I
do try to have a rough idea of how far I'm getting to a tank. It does
help when you've got a larger tank than the other riders with you
because you just top up when they do.

Having an odometer that doesn't under read by about 10% would also be a
    help.

Or, when the other rider is on a Hypermotard, every other time.

  10. Amazing, you know details that I have not made public about my finances,
my true political leanings and now you presume to guess as to what, if
any, plastic I habitually carry. You are the new crn you are.

Anyway I have had a very interesting weekend, road testing the new transit
but not as big as what I call a transit and my first ever boot sale.

An education it has been and if I may be allowed to resort to character
for a moment and have a dig at the resident kyke, them acidic joos are
very arrogant and didn't get discounts because of it. The young asian
moslem men out at dawn shopping for clothes for the family though were
outstanding in both their politeness and levels of personal cleanliness
and because of the former were more than welcome to barter me down to far
beyond where I wanted to go and I really don't think I have ever seen so
many fat fucking arsed bitches gathered together in one place in all my
life. WC would have loved it. If that lot were typical then yer modern
essex gal is twice the woman compared to those currently featuring on the
    telebox.

4 days of a diet of bacon rolls is doing interesting things to a digestive
system that borders on vegetarian so I might just nip out somewhere
enclosed later on, maybe a drive out into the country for a pint when I go
to fill up the tank for which, I should point out, I shall be paying for
not by credit card but good old fashioned hard cash. 50 pees as it
happens, a bucket, load of them. Cash says so much more about a person
    don't you think?

Didn't rate the van much, the gearbox was horrible, the springs to get to
1 and 2 felt heavy enough to be a reverse and the resistance offered by
what I presumed would be the usual ford impeccable gearbox made me panic
far too much and to make it worse, try as I might, I couldn't get it up on
two wheels like a proper vehicle ought to be. I didn't like not having a
red line on the rev counter either. Getting it to the stop is not the
same buzz somehow, no element of being naughty.

  11. Paper Clip! Tape!!.

For a start where is one supposed to get a paper clip in these days of
Ipads and second; what is wrong with getting with the times and using heat
    shrink all of a sudden?

  12. Well, 'Platinum ego card' is non-specific about type of card in any
case. And I made no assumption about what, if any, plastic you carry.
So it was nothing to do about the card but the language you employed.

The political leanings were 'as stated here', so I guess you're playing
the 'I was only trolling' line.

And your finances, happy to admit was just a guess.

Still one out of three's not a bad score for you really.

  13. You are begriming to look ridiculous. Seriously mate, whoever it is that
is prodding you to do this, he is not really your friend.
Not one of my lines I am afraid, you are allowing yourself to become a
little over eager and are confusing me with our resident fascist running
    pig dog.
