Superb. That has to be the best address for a ukrm French Run, ever.
Let's see if we can get them to change it to Rue des 50 Dronckaerts,
    shall we?

And a swift detour to Noel cuvelier's beer shop, near Poperinge will
reward those wishing to fill their luggage with exotic brews.

  8. Never have been able to get on with strong chewy beers, Chimay / Leffe /
Corsendonk etc all make me feel bloated / get me pissed too quickly and give
    me a terrible hangover.

German beers - alt / weiss / dark etc etc - no problems.

British ales - no problems either.

Just strong Belgian beers - weird.

<mental image of LN playing pool>

I don't think there's a polite way to ask this, so, er, do you ever find
yourself accidentally interfering with your opponents balls?

Hmm, I'd not thought about that.

The last time I played pool that I can remember was before I had the
second child. Up until then I was a pert 32 C. Two inches and mumble
cup sizes later I think you may have a point. There's probably some
sort of bridge thing that I can rest them on.

Probably not big enough. I could always try to exercise to make it
    bigger, I suppose.

I know you don't particularly like "dad", but calling him "Two inches"
is a bit below the belt, isn't it?

    It varies.

He is being particularly fuckwitted at the moment. UKRM would probably
approve of his recent tshirt choice though.

However him being a **** wit may be the spur I need to book the ferry
for the elephant. Recent conversation sorting out access stuff...

Him "I'm away that weekend in Germany"

Me "I'm away these dates, oh and while we're here there's 5 days in
January I might need you to have her"

    Him "why?"

Me "well you know UKRM has a thing for taking shite old bikes to
    unsuitable places?"

Him (in tone of utter disdain) "no, but it doesn't surprise me"

Me "well, I'm considering doing the elephant rally in Bavaria in
    January"

Him "You know what you're like with the cold, I don't think it is a
    good idea"

Me (smiling sweetly through the rage) "when has that ever stopped me?"

So if I do go and not seize up into a little sobbing cold ball I can
    annoy my ex, game on.
    heh.

<hazy smile of memory> Above the belt line, frequently.
