Bugger, forgot that bit. There's absolutely no way I can blame this on him?

  4. Even when DFV'ing I managed to forget my own passport, so the above is a
    likelihood rather than a possibility.

Ah! That was because the "from" field of your post here says "Colin
Irvine <>" so I duly looked at the bottom of your
home page and used that email address,

I had *years* of this. Now it's Colin's turn.

Does nobody use Message Disposition Notification these days?

I'm very tempted by the 2011 itinerary. Not too long a ride back on the
Sunday. Could be a good shake down for the TT trip. I will consult the
calendar for next year and liaise with SWMBO and the lad.

  11. Nice little run down from here via Portsmouth to either Caen or Le Arv
    (**** Dieppe, that's a shit crossing).

I did the booking of the holibob days between the bank 'olidays, so I
feel a little French tour culminating at said TOG tour would be nice.

*Hrrrmph* That was me what started that meme, that was. And it might
even have been Le Havre that first time, following the overnight from
Portsmouth, although it's stuck quite well as an MO from all ports
    since.

IIRC, it was quite early and really foggy on leaving the ferry. There
was a load of us heading off long the autoroute, until we got to the
first junction, where some went off one way, some carried on. Same
thing happened at the next junction. Eventaually there was just (again
IIRC) me, TOG, Andy and Adie. Then we lost Andy & Adie in a town
    somewhere...

Anyway, back to the case in point, I'm not going to email as I'm not
sure I can make it this time[1]. If things change, which won't be
until a lot nearer the time, then I might look at being a "reserve".

People will drop out - they always do!

Listen Colin, I'm a bit upset really, everyone else seems to have had a
public acknowledgement of receipt of their e-mail, I have not, I am hurt
and feel really under-valued, like my "emailed" just doesn't count as
    highly as others'.

Your prompt attention to this matter would be appreciated. I thought it
best to e-mail you directly with this rather than posting it to ukrm in
    general.

    Best regards,
    Jeremy

<g> Your "received" was stuck in my outbox, so I deleted it. I could
try and post it again, if you wish. Your custom is very important to
    me.

I'm baffled. It doesn't *look* like an attempt to start a cascade, but
    it must be.
