    Thank you. I see you only need to ride on the N43 all the way from
    Calais to Sedan which makes the navigation easy [1] - well apart from
    those bits where it changes into another road to bypass a town.

    You'll have Platty so should be OK. If you make it a GPS free zone
    you'll avoid unscheduled visits to allotments.

    Always a bonus IMO.

    Looks quite nice. Prolly about 3.5 hours from here, or about 5 via
    some of the best twisty roads up the Vosges. Have you got an
    interesting route planned for the way down?
    Dunno yet - the latter's unlikely but possible, I suppose, depending
    on who else is going.
