French list for autumn

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by The Older Gentleman, Jul 9, 2004.

  1. So far I've got Adie & Bonwick, Cab, Colin Irvine & Pat, Dodger & Linda,
Dnc, Nigel Eaton, Prawn, Platypus & Frau and Simon Batey & SO.

Looks like a small one, then.

    Anyone else?

Bugger. Definitely can't do that, 'cos I'm off the last 2 weeks of
August - I'd never get 4 Saturdays in a row off past my boss.

Believe it or not, I actually like working Saturdays.

Means I pick a day off during the week, so I can do stuff without
    battling through screaming kids.

Apart from the financial premium that was *the* benefit of working shifts.
However, after 2 years without them I don't want to go back to 06.00 starts
or 23.00 finishes. I don't really look forward to any job in the future
based on presenteeism as the primary performance measurement.

Me neither, I am going out west somewhere to do hovercrafting or 4 wheel
off roading or something like that about then. I am fairly sure it is
hovercrafting because I am quite looking forward to it and I am not that
enthused about the off roading thing.
