  1. Barry Sheene festival of Speed Eastern Creek - Easter weekend x 2
tickets for Sat & Sunday, plus U Beaut PCRA stickers.

I can't go as I'm taking one of our new fangled camper trailers up to
the Glodwing Rally in Gloucester to display for the gathered throng.

First in with an address (emailed to me - ) to
which I can post them wins the tickets.

    Kind regards

  2. Top marks, that man.

Yeah. I bought a Chinese product in May last year and lived to regret
it. Sold the heap of shit in July and it got on my wick that I had
spent too much money on a product which so lacked that Aussie quality
    which I thought I'd bought.

I found an Aussie manufacturer who could make me what I wanted and
knowing there's a demand became his sales agent for Aust & NZ.

It fits nicely with what we're doing now in that it's almost the same
    group of people.

Took the prototype to NZ in Dec 08 for "trials" - went to several
rallies & race meetings and it towed like a dream behind the 2007
    Bonneville and the ZRX1200.

GS has asked about it, but I've been so busy I ain't had time to show
    him the thing.

Have now got 5 demo units spread over Townsville, Brisbane, Sydney,
Melbourne and am looking for someone in SA who wants a low paid perk -
free use of excellent camper trailer in return for showing it at local
rallies and other bike events. Also need some one to do same in
    Sydney.

It weighs 130 kgs and contains a Queen size bed (Loooooxury!!) and 460
litres of space in the trailer for your other camping equipment.

I'm hoping to get to the Unaugural and Wintersun so you can have a
    peep.

Will have the fully optioned unit at the All British Rally at
    Campbell's Creek on 24 - 26 April.

    Kind regards

I can't help you there, Dave, since none of my bikes are equipped to tow
a trailer, and I dunno if I'd be game to try it anyway.

I can offer, should you need it, some place in Sydney to hide the thing.

(Under carport roof, locked to one of the main beams. Usually blocked in
    by car.)
Is there any reason it couldn't be towed behind a car?

David said they were for Sat/Sun, didn't mention Friday.

I'll try and find out what Angie's plans are for Easter, and get back to
    you.

  6. None whatsoever. I'm concentrating on the bike market at present to
get the camper trailers well known and appreciated for what they are.

I'm not interested in sales bullshit - people can see for themselves
what we've got and make their own decisions. Given the current
economic climate I'm not expecting huge sales. Long term we will sell
    them OK.

In a year or so I'll approach the car magazines and offer a demo for a
write up - have already been approached but turned them down as the
factory has only 5 staff - the boss (engineer) who is also involved in
the production and 2 tradesmen (one on the alloy trailer bodies and
the other on the canvas work) and 2 apprentices.

Don't want to push them past the stage of producing quality campers.
Expansion will happen, but not yet.

    Kind regards

  7. I've got a towbar on both the TDM and the K100RS sidecar, what would
be involved Dave? Also do a fair few rallies still.

  8. Probably going to this thing too:
    http://www.campertrailers.org/national_meet_2009.htm

Have been to all the other national meets, so most likely will be
there too. The editor of Campertrailers magazine will be in
attendance also, he does a few workshops there.

It'll be good to see you at the Unaugural, but seeing as how the
Loaded Dog rally is on the same day and only 16km away you might want
to take the opportunity to display your wares there too.

Good sales spiel there Milligoon but for what it's worth I saw this trailer
at the GP Expo and I thought it was the duck's-guts! (the goat's gonads...
the pig's pizzle, the dog's donger!)
I would happily fit a towbar to my Trumpet to take this beastie with me.
(I've towed a trailer many thousands of miles so I know not to fear them)

And it's solid too; I've been yanking on it for years (sometime quite
vigourously too!) and it hasn't come loose yet.

Heh heh; there's a couple of obvious repair-jobs on the bodywork and a
nasty-looking crack at the rear (and maybe a bit of bog....)

  19. I've just booked tickets to go to the UK to unload a shipment of bikes
and the day I get back to Melbourne is Thursday 8 May. Direct flight
London to Melb via 2hrs in Singapore - I might be a little too
knackered to attend, but I'll see how I go.

Wintersun is looking a whole lot better though.

    Kijnd regards
