    bad form/whatever

can you suggest a sensible route from Enfield to your place avoiding
    the M25?

I'm thinking North Circular, but which way after that?

A13 to the junction after the BP garage (Stanford-le-Hope, Coryton,
Horndon). Up the slip. Left at the roundabout (B1007). Stay on the
road past the Horndon turn. Up the hill, past the Harvester on the
right, down the hill, left into Laindon High Road, down one of the
streets on the left (Vowler, Emmanuel). Right into Berry Lane. Left
    into my road.
