    I don't get why anyone would want to host websites on their home pc when
    there are so many sources of free webspace out there.

    So, run the scripts etc. on one box and stick all the high bandwidth
    stuff on the ISP's server... it's not exactly difficult.

    I use http://pogga.co.uk and get 250megs of space and 5gig transfer a
    month for £10 a year. Very reliable so far.
