I think they were. He died for his art.
    And clearly, the evidence did.

Car doors will bend at the drop of a hat, let along a fully grown bloke
hitting one. They're not made of bridge trusses, they're made of paper thin
    shite.

What absolute nonsense, every post you have made on this has been
absolutely devoid of all reason, you have introduced bizarre concepts such
as the 'door zone' and alleged that the cyclists speed was too fast. I
really don't think you have a leg to stand on here, your wriggling and
justifications are hysterically funny to watch but quite bonkers.

It must be something in the air today, in other news, this also made me
    chuckle

I don't suppose it being dark and his having no lights on would have made
much difference given that he was registered blind, but more so what
business does a 77 year old living in a nursing home have keeping a
tractor and trailer for day trips to Perth.

Blimi, since when was cycling through a red light punishable by summary
execution?! Much as we might like it to be...

So when the HC tells the cyclist that he is advised to ride away from
parked cars, that's a bizarre concept is it?. Twat.

Yeah. A grass verge, a lamp post and a 180 degree change of orientation.

When the HC says "must" it's telling you that there is law to that
    effect.

I didn't say that - I'm just pointing out that's it not correct to say
that the HC has the force of law.
Isn't that the principal purpose of usenet? :/

The outcome was taken into consideration, rather than his actions.
Were you a member of the jury then, or in the public gallery? We will
just have to trust the judge.

  13. What part of "on my motorcycle" didn't you understand, then?

  14. Yup, and while I agree that a cycle is lighter than a motorcycle, the
effect will still be great on the bike that hits it. Rather greater than
it will be with a car.

  17. I see. So "far too many" = "as a whole", or a majority, does it?

Back to remedial English classies for you, laddie.

  18. Don't worry. Luke seems to be one of those posters who extrapolates
wildly, adds his own spin, and then presents it as gospel.
