Saturday will be mostly taken up with bolting the bike back together as
    well.

On Saturday I'll be scoring new tyres.

On Sunday I'll be scrubbing them in with malicious intent.

Now if you were to make it the sunday after I could squirt around
on my new Sprint ST putting some miles on it.

The the Sunday after I could bring my new Blade.

Well, I am *supposed* to be fettling my bike this weekend (after it has
sat for *mumbly-mumble* months sat in the garage). I am going out
Saturday afternoon & evening though, so if I can get my arse into gear
Saturday AM and get it sorted, it might be a goer.

    H&J at 11ish, is it?
    Fuggoff, git!

doubt it - I am intending to take the bike out for it's first foray of
the year, but I doubt I'll be going further than High Beach.

    If it's dry, yeah.

Need to fight the urge to use the smoker again...

    Do it.

If it's dry I'll be over on the KTM so I need someone slow to keep in
    sight.

With a view to drumming up more numbers (and making my journey to
Aylesbury slightly more interesting) I'm thinking of prepending the FOT
so it takes in the A4130, A4074, A329 and A418 beforehand...

    http://tinyurl.com/2on74b

....in which case it'd be 10am just outside Maidenhead, taking in a
    slightly late FOT en route.

See other post about extended route, which I may re-jig, depending.

What sort of time do you think that route would get you to the H & J?

It's about 45 minutes from my place to Aylesbury but I'd need to fill
up as close to the pub as possible because my tank range will be below
100 miles if I'm giving the bike stick and I don't want to be stopping
    mid-fot.

    100 miles? Luxury.

I suspect it'd mean being at the H&J around 11, so roughly the usual
    start time anyway.

I'm only guessing at what range it's got but when I was being nice to
it before the first service it was about 110 miles before the orange
light of doom so I can't see me getting better than 100 now it's going
to be getting more throttle action.

As long as it's dry I'll leave home at 10am, I'll text you a phone
number relevant on the day before I leave.

Do a fot, I'll be on the KTM so you can have a blast on it if you
    still fancy the idea.
