If you thought my corners were iffy, you should have seen the state of
my riding on the way to Aylesbury. Ugh.

The SV was downright lethal before I wound up the preload right up at
both ends. Now it's merely lively. What Suzuki were thinking when they
fitted factory-reject Slinkys at each end I don't know.

I find reckless enthusiasm more than makes up for iffy springs, mind.

    ogden says...
You need a Gixer Thou K1 or K2 shock and a set of Racetech cartridge
emulators, progressive springs to suit your weight and 15W oil.

My licence only allows 33bhp, so, probably.

Really? Why's that then? I know that there's a period from passing a
test before you can ride full-power bikes but I'd have assumed you'd
have passed that period (clearly wrongly...)

That would explain the lack of overtakes.

speaking of which, the one where Champ went passed the large
agricultural vehicle just before a blind 90 degree right hander and
*just* nicked in in front before colliding with the car coming the
    other way was "entertaining".

Heh. I'm glad it was (mostly) on our side of the road, rather than
having met it coming the other way a few minutes later.

Actually it's not the bike that's restricted, it's me.
