I think my sunday plans will be dictated by whether I get up early to
watch the motogp then FOT, or if I get up later and just watch watch the
    re-run.

You'd better hope it's nothing like today then. Lots of nice cold fog
that limits visibility to about 50 yards and by doing so removes the
    point in doing a fot.

The tea brews as the journey progresses; I admit the milk content is a
bit high in that one but that changes as it gets topped up.

Not really, it was still fucking cold though. It's nice now so I might
get the bike out mid afternoon and go for a quick blast.

BOTAFOTs have been known to be conducted in the fog at 11am.

That doesn't mean it's good fun.

I'd be more inclined to say a tenth of the speed and no fun at all.

Cold I can cope with and rain I can cope with but fog or ice I just
don't want to know - unless it's for a very good reason.

  20. I don't like the misting up but I do rather enjoy the detached ride that
fog can bring. The lack of echo from a loud can is a different sound
which needs exploring too. Great on a thumper.
