Anyone have any links for discussion forums relating to the Honda CBR600 F4i?

    They're quite knowledgeable.
Lots of guys in there race cbr6's in the US/UK.

Much more popular as a supersport than here.

Yeah, it should be "fora", but I guess forums is acceptable in our
bastardised version of the English language.

That forum mentioned yesterday is mostly American. Much better
    signal:noise on the yahoogroup.

Thanks guys. Having a rummage through those.

Another bike that might be on the shortlist is the Trumpy 600 Daytona. Any lists for them and/or
    anyone know much about them?

I would love it (and a whole host of other bikes would also be on my list), however it has to be a
bike that we both feel comfortable riding. One main reason we're getting rid of the goof is that
    it's too bulky for Jeanette.

Hell, at the moment runout models of the CBR900 Fireblades are cheaper than the 600, but Jeanette
would struggle reaching the ground and feeling happy with the extra weight. She sat on one and it
was pretty much out of the question.

At this stage the CBR600 is winning due to what the Honda guy said he could give us for trading in
the goof. Peter Stevens in Dandenong (who else is a Triumph dealer in Melbourne?) wouldn't really
look at it due to it's age, kms and condition. Would only give us whatever they could convince
someone to give for it (bike wholesalers and dealers like Ray Quinceys, etc). If we were lucky and
someone took it from us for $3,000 as is (which is about what the Honda dealer would give us) then
I'd be seriously looking at the Daytona over the CBR.

Came second in 'Bike of the Year" for (UK mag) Two Wheels Only. First was
    the CBRRR-600RR, RRR (RR).

  8. There was a pretty active TT600 list at triumphnet.com but I think the
Daytona 600 may be just a bit new to have many owners out there yet. Worth
a look though (and I can't wait to try one, even if it does look like a
    pokemon...)

Would be sweet except we need a fully faired bike. Jeanette has issues with her blood, and she only
seems to stay warm on a fully faired bike. And yes, heated grips will be fitted to whatever we end
    up getting.

Plus we prefer the looks of fully faired bikes.

    **Ditto to heated handgrips!!!!
**What this we business?!!! Personally i love the look of nake bikes but
after riding cb (naked) and the cbr (fully faired) and staying warm on the
cbr i really dont' have a choice. The blood circulation issue kind of takes
    that away from me :(

Actually your right. I sat on the fireblade again on the highest setting and
    could tippy toe the ground.

Problem would be if i needed to reverse it and moving that bulk around....

    Considered an SV650S ? Or the Hornet 600 ?

Off to bike shop very shortly...gotta love saturdays!!

The severely vertically challenged wife rides an SV650S and loves it. She's
got a 2002 which is definitely shorter than the 2003 (regardless of what the
spec sheet says, Procycles had a brand new 02 and an 03 side by side and I
    checked it out thoroughly).
