Nope, this is a success story of sorts. The Sunday Morning Furtle with the
    bike.

Many moons ago I ordered some Progressive fork springs from M&P, having read
on the GTR sites that this was a very worthwhile upgrade. M&P did their
usual 'let us take an age to deliver with vague promises each time he
rings' and thus I recieved said springs last week. After waiting two
    months.

Anyways, woke up this morning bright and early. Finally got round to fitting
    them.

What a difference!. With no additional air pressure in the forks as
Progressive suggest, I have lost the vague feeling from the front. It will
never ever be a taught scratcher of a bike but at least now I know where
the front wheel is trying to go and I've lost the 'rocking horse' feeling
that undulations in the road surface brought forth. Braking feel has also
    improved enormously. A worthwhile upgrade.
