Bloody hell, 35,681 articles to download and catch up on. That will
teach me to wander off into the distance for 14 months, I just didn't
realise you lot posted so much shyte.

The bike went in for an MOT yesterday - and duly failed [1st time for
everything I suppose] so as soon as I can get around to getting the
thing up in the air and the fork seals changed, and re-tested I can look
forward to scaring myself shitless scrubbing in two shiny new
Bridgestone 010's. Trouble is I haven't riden in 14 months.

Stay off the A47 and local roads.

Nice to be back though. <waves>
Will look forward to catching up on those 35,000 missed posts :¬(

You shouldn't judge others by your own standards you know, but a broken
left shoulder and ankle often felt like being in prison :(
The physioNazi has done her worst and I have come to terms with fainting
when they jab my shoulder, real men do faint! So, I can now rejoin the
Human race or at least post here again.

Reflecting on the ride to the MOT Centre I would say that the tyres were
    the last of my worries...

Failed a bounce test, fell about 9 feet, must have brittle old bones
these days because I am sure I USED to bounce. The problem was they
spotted my ankle but wouldn’t listen when I said my shoulder hurt as
well. Result, after a month the shoulder was "totally" immobile.

It's coming along nicely now, but I hate Dr's and nurses that think they
know better because after they give you "something for the pain" all the
pain stops so there is little point coming back and asking me "what
    hurts now?"

I have mastered falling off of buildings, that is as easy as it ever
was, now all I have to do is master falling off -- oops I mean riding
    bikes again :)
Oh yes that's right I passed out [ahem]
Oh well I missed another BOSM so I figure I ought to get on some ride
outs, but I will have to do me fork seals first...

Having waded through line after pigging line, I have come to the
realisation that you were wrong Molly. You can't begin to understand how
empty my life has been these past 14 months :) Oh alright you probably
    can.
