Fork oil weight??

  1. Wiki'd again?

All you've said here is that your original assertion was nonsense.

  2. Once again you lose. Once again you resrot to obscenity to cover your
    idiocy.

NO, ASSHOLE. *You're* saying that I wrote nonsense, because you're an
    argumentative prick.

Ask Kevin Cameron about "orifice limited" flow in damper rod forks or
google up his book. It's online.

    Also, research "Saybolt Universal Seconds".

No. It's because I know a helluva lot more than you do. This isn't an
idle post, nor is it anything to be proud of, because I reckon my cat
knows more than you do, too.
Excuse me. Go back to my original posting and you'll see a concise
explanation of why multigrade oils are useless in forks. Go back to
yours and you'll see "Do you have to ride so fast on cold mornings."

Now you are realising the point of different viscosities and oil flow,
and you are realising why your original assertion was, indeed,
nonsense. Whereas my posting made this point from the very start.

In other words: yes, your original assertion was nonsense.

You're confused. I was only talking about the difference in straight
weight and multi viscosity number. Which someone else explained incorrectly

Sexually or technically? Either way, the answer is yes. It's quite
extraordinary. He actually knows nothing himself, so he has to Google
or Wiki for everything, and then he doesn't have the brainpower to
interpret what he reads, so he still gets it wrong. I mean, in the
past he's even cited Wiki sources which have disproved his assertions.

Hey, is this the same hanky prancer who's never used a torque wrench
on a motorcycle axle and who doesn't know how the ignition secondaries
    on classic I4's are connected?
No, you're stealing from your employer again this AM.
Were I you, I wouldn't be proud of myself either,
Well, talk to your cat then. My cat is silent on petrochemical
    properties.
What, am I supposed to echo your postings as a symbol of adoration?
I don't see the OP complaining about my advice.
No, I have known about the effect of different viscosities on
motorcycle forks since the 1960's when I thought that *grease* might
make my Yamaha's bent forks slide smoothly...

Whereas my posting made this point from the very start.

As I said before, I do not chime in when tacitly agreeing to your
statement, and I don't need you to agree with me either, it just makes
extra reading for the innocent who don't know what your main game is.

Rattle tossing. There. I've picked up your gawd damned rattle for the
    umpteenth time.
    No. It wasn't.

The same. Unlike you, I'm willing to learn and admit errors. As I
said, electrics are not my strong suit.
Oh, so you *do* agree that it was correct, then?
Because he didn't know it was wrong. He didn't know anything, which is
why he asked. And you gave him misleading information. When you do
this (and you do it a lot) it's only right and proper to correct it.

The OP opened the door to Bedlam, looked inside, saw what was going on
in the Snake Pit, quietly closed the door and tiptoed away...
