Forgive me father, for I have very nearly sinned

At work we broke a pretty decent TDM900 this week because it had far
too many miles for our showroom and a rattly engine[1]. While I was
checking out the array of parts taken from it I noticed some rather
good handguards sitting there, complete with Touratech branded
extension spoilers. I whipped them into the showroom and offered them
up against a new Versys and they'll definitely fit mine, so I bought
    them.

Only later did I notice who'd made the handguards, and it's not
Touratech as I first thought. I'm not divulging any more, except to say
my Versys will soon be home to two very small propellor-style logos,
one embossed inside each handguard. In my defence I honestly thought
they were made by Touratech before I parted with my money and the logos
are very small and hidden from sight.

    Oh, the eternal shame!

[1] Knackered camchain and tensioner, so we split the engine for spares
too, instead of selling it complete.

The Versys is doomed, I tell you doomed.

Not sure now, but it was too high, plus it would have cost too much to
do the engine repair work and make it clean enough to go on the showrom
floor. It's worth far more to us in bits sold on ebay. We broke a 54
plate FZ6S the other day because it had a bit of bodywork damage we
couldn't be arsed to repair, and me and bossman have been discussing
the feasibility of breaking an immaculate new style 2009 R1 with only
    2300 miles recorded.

Touratech are the Sonderkommandos of BMW.

Lozzo took a blunt brush and painted...
I'm very suprised you aren't going to dremel the _B_ _M_ _W_ logos off!

I suppose that these, along with the engine bars coming from a BMW shop, mean
that the Versys is now a clattery lump of shit with no redeeming features? :)

Kedo.com, perhaps. They are a german shop doing accessories for Yamahas,
and they sell TDM handguards that are adapted BMW ones (I used to have
    them on my 850).

Should we start a "People who knows Loz will own a BMW" Facebook group?

Loz doth protest far too much. Not only is it inevitable, I reckon
he's already had a couple - and maybe, even now, under a cover in a
dark corner of a lockup garage, not far from him ....

This is the plan - I just couldn't live with a propellor logo aywhere
    on my bike

    Cheeky ****

The only useless piece of shit cluttering up either of my lock ups is a
fucked Bandit 1200 motor - by the way, when can you collect it cos I'm
scared it may rock over and damage either mine or Carl's bike one of
    these days? :)
