Surely they'll recognise all the hard work and long hours that you put
in. I get the impression you're pretty conscientious.

 

Don't get me wrong, I'll get some. I just don't expect it to be
anything special, our bonus percentages are set at division level, so
are very 'one (european) size fits all'.

Standard corporate stuff really.

It's not just about money though, interesting work is also important to
me, I get that in spades.

What is this "bonus" thing of which you talk? The way my mob is

Actually, I suppose it depends on your definition of large, but
typically bonuses[1] here are 5-15% of the basic salary.

I'll be fairly deeply dischuffed if it's not a decent whack (though I'm
getting a 16% pay rise on my basic salary, so I can't complain /too/
much).

With internal targets however there are a lot more variables, some
