But not pain, directly. Usenet struggles with the more sophisticated nuances, but that the gist of it.
The thing is you don't actually seem to visibly care, or offer any kind of compassion and support. Rather you seem to treat it as an oppurtunity to set out on some personal crusade that revolves around how unfair the universe has been to you. At least that's how it appears from where I'm sat, feel free to convince me I'm wrong.

Good point, let's not leave the script. Someone give Cane a nudge and tell him to get ready to ask her if she needs a job.
Righto. <Wanders over> Hello Sarah, welcome to UKRM. Are there any naked photographs of you on the Internet?
Perhaps on the off chance that someone would be interested. Cheers Cab thanks for posting that, please ignore the wannabe snail sucker. -- Tim two#21, YGL#3 & BOTAFOT#84 Due to the limitations of current email, the lip movements may be out of synchronisation as you move your finger under the text while reading. tim dot ukrm2 at dsl dot pipex dot com

Tim bored us all completely to death with wittery prose along the lines of: Heh, unlike some, I do recognise the fact that there are other French speakers/readers on the NG. he's flavour of the month? how the bloody hell do you come to that conclusion? There are times when you clearly *are* inhabiting the planet zarg or wherever it is you think you live. Why does any of this matter one jot? Why is there a restriction - in your mind - in someone posting a link to this group in whatever language they like? Why did you infer that it was some self seeking action on the part of the person? If I post a link to a dutch website do you automatically say to yourself "oh look there's Paul Corfield declaring himself to be the best dutch speaker on the group?" If Ivan Reid posts a link to a Swiss website does this mean he is declaring himself as someone who speaks 4 languages and is best on group? Oh - I see that the restrictions on quoting private conversations can now be lifted if you just assume the other person in that private conversation won't mind a direct quote. Jolly good - noted for future reference.
