Initial shake down tests and plug chops were a success. 75 miles through
some pleasant Sussex A and B roads.

Happily cruises at 60 mph on the dual carriageway and pulls quite merrily
on the back roads. 75 mph down a steep hill. Don't like the painted
springs, to be replaced. Although the suspension and handling is pretty
    good.

Now for a spot of tea.

I'll not mention it again. Well, try not to.

Is it just me or can anyone else tell the difference between the before and
    after pictures?

I think you've just brightened the image & upped the red saturation in
    PhotoShop!!

    p.s. well done, btw.

Is that the kickstart on the same shaft as the gear change? If so then how
    does that work then?
And what a funny place to put the side stand.
Ho hum... good luck with it.

Nice, and all for less than 100 squid. 60 on the flat doesn't sound to bad
either. So it's time to show those 4 stroke boys a thing or two.

Is that what my mate would call a pile of crap?

Yeah, I'd probably be quicker on it than your mate too [1].

The same as a BSA Bantam, it's two shafts, one runs inside the other.
The other end runs inside the final drive sprocket, supported by the
sprocket bearing. Compact design that reduces the number of support
    bearings I suppose.

But not as bonkers as the Czech CZ where the kickstart and the gearchange
are one and the same. But pulls out and rotates through 120 deg.
Its unusual, yes, but doesn't roll off the stand on downhill grades.
It's the Benly boys that'll need the luck ...

  11. Lovely. You'll need a mirror on the other side for Forn Parts, mind.

MZ's use the bar end finishers to hold the throttle. I couldn't find, at
the time, an appropriate finisher. Banging on an old bar end mirror
solved the problem. (ETZ's are a different size, if you care)

My bar muffs can't cope with bar end mirrors so it'll probably be gone as
I've now find the right bits.
