Back from a jaunt in queensland and all I see are charmayne posts.

The yamaha badge and the yamaha logo's appear to be "coloured" as in not
clear if the bike were truly pink.
If you look carefully they are greyed a bit not clear.
What the picture shows to me is that the shape of the tank was selected
using the lassoo tool and the colour shade was then overdone on magenta
which gives it that pink tinge.

Here's one I made up in 5 minutes to show how easy it is to do.

It would depend, largely, on how much crap was put in the
huge plastic box. Wouldn't be my first preference either,
but *shrug* whatever gets you to the rally ...

What Gerry is saying is quite clear.

He is of the opinion that the engineering behind the giant top box is a
little like Liberal foreign policy. Looks impressive to the casual
observer, but appears to have been designed on a flimsy foundation by
someone whose mind was not focused on the long-term effects of its
    application in the real world.

    oh.... yes, ;-)

    X-No-archive: yes
OK; I'm happy with the "wanker" bit but what's the "paralever" bit about?

The paralever holds the rear wheel aligned; the wanker holds
    the front wheel aligned.

Actually, I think Gerry is getting confused between the paralever
and the gyrodestabilizer (southern hemisphere model).
