Twenty two full grown men chasing a bladder of wind around a field.
    And they pay to watch.

    Indeed.
Bristol New Ashton Gate. To be built on green belt land in Ashton Vale.
Which is outside of Bristol's boundaries. Guess what North Somerset's
planning committee told them to do with their planning application.
And just to add to the friendly welcome, the local tree huggers have
searched the site and found their usual quota of rare plants and bugs.

I used to think that response was funny...

    ....when I was 14.

He's great when he gets on a run and comes out with all the old
    favourites.

We hope so, as the new Forest stadium if built is likely to be within a
few hundred yards of our house. Despite Forest being outside the City
boundaries and both the borough and the county council being against its
not stopping the city council pushing for a massive stadium on green
belt land that Forest will never hope to fill.

I am now firmly a NIMBY.
