The thing is, for those of who hate football, that list is completely
meaningless. I presume Milton Keynes hosting it is funny for some
reason, but I have no idea why. Likewise the rest of the list.

Leeds is a shit hole of a city with a shit hole of a ground but I was
actually thinking of one in S.Yorkshire where a few football
supporters (1) trampled each other to death some years back.

    (1) I know that's not how Adie would describe them.

It's the bit where they've picked stadiums that aren't likely to ever
be built that made me laugh most.

Football in England is going into meltdown with more and more clubs
likely to either go into administration or fold completely and the
taxpayer is going to help fund a few new grounds. At least the cost
will be spread about more evenly than the poxy fucking Olympics.

    Is that clearer?

Am I supposed to give a **** about your opinion?
You'll be paying towards the grounds if they get the World Cup so
that'll give you something to smile about. Nice thought huh?

    Very strange.

If the stadia do get built - is there really a demand for 40k capacity
grounds in places like Plymouth, Bristol and MK?

Even many of the existing grounds on the list will need major
re-development work if they're to come up to standard.

Surely it would have been better to look at places where new, decent
capacity grounds already existed? - even playing at Reading would be
preferable to spending huge amounts of money on re-developing Plymouth.
Which is a complete shithole of a place anyway.

Why do you assume I'm a knuckle dragger?

You probably believe that you're on some kind of intellectual high
ground here but be nice and tell me how you've come to that
    conclusion.
Which bit? Clubs are going bust but they'll still try their hardest to
get the WC in the faint hope that it'll bring some money in. That'll
be after you've paid for it. Keep smiling.

Oh great. So the clubs keep paying the talentless cheating morons
millions a week, & we have to pay for their playgrounds.

Looking at the list, I very much doubt any of the clubs where new
grounds are being built are paying players 'millions a week' - some of
them won't even be paying £1k / week for most of their players.

Is this one of those "I know you're a knuckle dragger" posts or a
    denial of your previous post?

Either way you seem incapable of explaining yourself properly but I'm
sure you'll get there in the end.

I knew you'd understand. At least it'll keep the unemployed at home
rather than them going over to Europe and ruining my holidays.

    I think you're a knuckle dragger that can't organise a piss up.[1]

But a knuckle dragger that likes football ... Nah. There's only 1
crazy football nutter in your house ... ;)

    Paul.

[1] I called your gaff last week, and SMS'd Adie.

We were away from Thursday morning until Sunday evening but the sms
    only she'd know.

I've just checked my phone and I don't have your number but do you
fancy doing beers tomorrow? She's watching the football so being in
the house is a bad idea :)

Sure. Sounds good. I'm pretty sure I've got your current home no. Even
if I don't contact, i'll rock up tomorrow evening at the usual time.
    7-7.30 ish

    Cheers,
