Did anyone else bid on the auction of all the Foggy Petronas stuff? I put in about a dozen bids, for tyres, wheels, verniers, ratchets, etc, all of which started at cracking prices (e.g. 35 quid for a pair of slicks, 100 quid for a pair of wheels). One by one I got emails that I'd been outbid. I was determined not to chase the prices, so let them go. The auction closed yesterday, and I won a single lot: 4 paper towel dispensers! I'd only bid on them because the photo showed them with the rolls of blue garage/workshop towel.
