    Fog City Inserts

Has anyone tried the fog city inserts in a Arashi Bullet helmet, are
they any good and do they fit well?

How do they compare with PIN Lock? Which are best to stop fogging?

    Cheers

That's what I'm after the reacta-lite insers but I've been advised
that only Fog City do them and they don't fit an Ashari Bullet very
well and wanted to know if anyone had tried it.

I haven't used the Fog City inserts, but have had a similar (no-name)
insert - reactive lens, with an adhesive strip all round, a bit like
the old anti-mist screens you used to get for cars before HRWs were
invented. It worked well for the time I had it, but on about the
fourth trip it fell off the visor onto my nose. I removed it and
haven't used it since. If Fog City are better quality, they could be
the way to go if your helmet doesn't accept Pinlock inserts. My
cheapo Caberg is fine for summer use, but I'll probably be getting a
Shoei or somesuch with a Pinlock in time for next winter.

    **** 'em.
Piece o' shit. Buy a Uvex lid and never worry about misting up.
Don't breathe. Hey, there's an idea.
