OK, double post time, but how much are you comfortable spending on a
    bottle?

BTW, as you seem to share a taste in wine with me, and have fantastic
tits, can I just mention that it's a real shame youre a lezzer?

It's too late to recommend something for last night but for future
reference you can't go wrong with a bottle of Buckfast. It's given a
couple of millions jocks brain damage so you know it'll get her pissed
enough to think you're a classy kind of bloke.

Strangely enough I did find a bottle of tempranillo with a hint of oak
once in Sainsburies, it was delicious and at much cheapness too.

Tend to mostly stick to Rioja these days, it's part of my plan to cut
back on my Darsyesque level of alcohol consumption. Buy more premium
wines of a type I particularly enjoy and savour the taste. So far it
hasn't worked as each case from thewinesociety tends to disappear at
twice the rate of the stuff purchased locally.

Ask her what type of wine she likes drinking and choose the cheapest one
of that type by the glass. If it's drinkable buy a bottle next round,
otherwise buy a glass of the next higher priced one and repeat until you
have to move onto a different variety.

If she answers generically, oh I love red, white, rose or champagne then
you're sorted. Otherwise ask the staff for recommendations of the type
she likes. If they say they have one last bottle of champagne for £395
    just ignore them.

I did all that, but she still didn't want anal. Where did I go wrong?

Oh, and thanks for all the tips. When we got there, there were two bars - the
wine one and the non-wine one next door. She opted for the non-wine and we
    got bladdered on spirits.

<g> In that case, Morrisons have some really nice Bruichladdich for
    about £25.

T went out for a "girls night out" last night; session at a health spa
for "treatments" and then down the pub for a retox.

She arrived home late, rather wobbly, and with brown streaks down her
legs. I asked her about the streaks and she blurted out something along
the lines of "spray tan was a free treatment, the other option was
    acupuncture"

However, I'm going to ask her what she had to drink and if she says
    Shiraz, you're busted!

Well, for everyday drinking under a tenner, but up to £20 for
something to hold for the right evening. If someone else is buying,
    then more ;~)
Well, you can, and thank you, but it's been that long I can't remember
    which bus I'm on...
