I used to run Seti@home years ago, stopped doing it for a while and
    feel like re-starting 'something'.

We have a small network with a 'render farm' of three PC's that my son
used to use as a render farm (heh!) for his game design and 3d
animation. He dumps whatever he's working on to the farm to render
final scenes using Maya and After Effects etc so that he can continue
to work on his PC or laptop and the farm goes to work in the
background. It's not fast by todays standards (2.4G Athlons) but it's
reliable, uses minimal power and just 'works'. We access it via Tight
VNC, simple and easy to use.

We also have five laptops and another desktop that could all run a
project as well, all on the same network via ethernet and wireless.

Nowadays we don't use the computers and the render farm so much and I
thought it's a bit of a waste so I'd try Seti again, but really think
that there ought to be something better or more worthy. I'm not sure
Seti, as a project, will actually _do_ much .. ;)

So, what does UKRM 'do' nowadays?

Any 'must have' project or group?

    Cheers.

Folding? That felt 'worthwhile' but I haven't done it for a while.

lately, hence the large day-to-day variations.)
