Oh, not for years, really. The last time someone offered me coke I
said no, and the last time I had a joint I didn't enjoy it.
A bit of both. I know they're discrete, but I'm not sure where one
    stops and the other starts.
Hmm. I don't know what proportions of which I have.
TBH, I'm not much like that IRL, only on here.

IKWYM, I used to have a desire to feed the little fuckers; fortunately it
was when you could nudge up so wasn't quite as expensive. Although my
wages were also a lot less.

As an aside: Years ago there was a local manger who told the staff
social fund they could not have a fruit machine in the mess room as (a)
the SSF was just a front for a strike fund and (b) fruit machines were
pernicious instruments of Satan and he would not have 'his' men exposed
    to them.

So we can't go in any mess room that has them? That's 90% of the Western
Region; I foresee problems for the train service. Ho Ho.

:) Come on super boy, you can try harder than that surely? Or am I not
    worth it now?

What is all this about? I'm explaining that your "insults" are
puerile and don't bother me, and you're happy?
I honestly don't know what your problem is. It is peculiar behaviour,
    though.

Yeh, I've not got a problem with you. I know you're a tosser, you and
one or two others on this ng. At least they have the sense to not keep
answering or even replying to me.

This is why you're a super hero, that has to go that one step over and
    above, all the time.

    sometime.
I don't know - what is it like?

Hmm. Have you read the rest of this thread? It's not the same thing
    at all.

I just don't understand why you reply to every post of mine /because/
you think I'm a tosser. SOP would be the opposite, surely?
    And I don't really understand why I'm a superhero *and* a tosser.
    Aren't they usually mutually-exclusive?

How about without knowing the first fucking thing about me, you
    refrain from passing judgement, eh?

You're telling me that /I'm/ wrong on a matter relating to me? That's
    never going to wash, really.

I don't know, I didn't have much time for Christopher Reeve.

You're right: I don't think my logic will let me understand your

But he had wheels for legs; he was some mecho-humanoid-bot that must make
    him a kind of superhero.

He did, however, have a kiss curl which may make him spawn of the Dark
    Lord.

I think he's pointing out, quite correctly in my view, that your
absolute certainty on this smacks a little of arrogance rather than
    first-hand experience.

I mean, I'd tend to say the same things about me - I'm a non-addictive
personality, or whatever, but having never tried whichever 'white
powder' you're talking about I wouldn't go so far as to say I could
_never_ be addicted. If nothing else, there is an element of physical
dependency in many drugs, particularly opioids, which is generally
    considered to be universal.

Then again, others say the same about nicotine, so wibble-flip-doo...

It's because of my first-hand experience that I am absolutely certain.
    *ding*

Do I recall correctly that nicotine is substantially more addictive
(however "they" measure these things) than heroin? It's certainly
something I've heard; which doesn't make it scientifically true,
    naturally.

This sums up the attitude of my mate whose gone off the rails at the mo,
overall... and no, that doesn't mean I'm lumping you in with him. ;-)
