For some reason having read the last 3 posts I've now got the mental
image of you and darsy as image consultants in a "What not to wear"
style show, it's a very disconcerting thing to have floating around in
    my head.

I've voluntarily drunk alcohol free beer when I've been driving, and not
totally hated it.. I didn't like the horrible groggy way it left me
    feeling the next day though.

All the shit, none of the alcohol.

Ok, I've been stubborn, but it's not me with the truly pathetic
    "insults".

What I'm going to try is remove sump; which is incidentally held on with
many, many M5 nut and studs - cunts; then cleanly hacksaw off the head of
the plug and knock out (inwards) the stripped threaded portion. If
necessary retap thread either with the original M12 or slightly oversize
    1/2" UNF.

I don't fancy lying under shite old vans in a scrappy unless absolutely
    necessary.

In my "what's available for the heap of shit" searches sumps haven't been
one of the top items. A fiend indeed, unfortunately.

Okay, let's tackle something simpler: am I going to be the me that I
am now at the Bahrain GP, and will you be the you that you are now at
    the Bahrain GP?

That's not strictly true, no. There are many AEs (Adverse Events)
associated with long-term IV use, even if you exclude those caused by
poor hygiene etc. Other forms of administration have are also used (in
the medical arena ) and have been shown to be safer and as effective
for pain relief; for example, recent studies of diamorphine in a nasal
spray have shown no _serious_ AEs.

So it's fair to say that it's relatively 'safe', but you can never say
that any drug has no damaging effects at all, just that the incidence
and severity is not high, and that it's tolerable compared with the
    benefits gained.

Got a few t-shirts here... With the wonderful benefit of hindsight...
I could have saved myself a fair bit of dosh and a whole lot of wasted
time... 10 years or so... Still, I wouldn't have been able to
pontificate on the ng on the subject... Don't s'pose this ranting
would stop anyone who really is into it...

Having an 18 yr old son kinda puts things into perspective...

  14. If drugs had no effect they would not be addictive. Therefore the fact
that they *do* have an effect is a factor in their addictiveness.
You are missing the point - drugs are addictive because of what they do
to the body (whether that ends up as a physiological or psycological
addiction is not at question here). If they didn't have the effect thay
they did, they wouldn't be addictive.

  15. You cannot seperate the drug from the effect - if the drug no longer
had the physiological effect then the laws of biologoy and chemistry
    have stopped working..

  16. I don't mean disgusting in a filthy "good" way, I mean disgusting in the
"wouldn't give her one even if I'd drunk 20 pints" kind of way. Tell you
what, there's a website out there that I know there's a few pictures of
her on. I'll see what I can dig out, but, and I don't say this lightly,
if you've just eaten I would advise you not to look or at least have a
    bucket handy.
