    Just been serviced and MOT'd. Not really using it so makes sense to
    flog it.

    What do reckon is the best way to do it. eBay, Bike Trader, here etc?

    You going for something different, Motard etc, or just getting out of bikes
    for a while?
    Private sale would be my choice if you're not in a rush. Prices on eBay look
    grim atm, if they sell at all.

    did you have the dent in the tank fixed?
    I've sold <fx: thinks> 6-7 bikes through ukrm. It's free, but you do
    have do deal with some right cunts.

    Let's see:

    SZR660 -> Ginge
    B12 -> Scrapyard
    TRX850 -> Travis
    CD200 -> Blaney
    R1150GS -> Some Welsh bloke via Loot
    R30 -> You
    Fireblade -> Raden
    Tiger -> Zymurgy

    Here for a couple of days, Bike/Auto trader for a week or so, then
    ebay.

    If you just want rid and aren't too worried about price, ebay 3-day
    listing at as low a start price as you're prepared to accept to sell
    it. Put the ebay No in your sig ... ;)

    Ebay's tricky at the moment. It's really hard to guess which way
    prices are going. Some weeks you get a decent price, but right now, a
    hell of a lot of stuff isn't making reserve or is selling cheap. The
    only things that are holding up really nicely are basic economical
    commuters, presumably as people try to make fuel savings.

    Whizzy sports bikes are fetching a pittance. Not good news.

    I'd stick it on Ebay with the starting price as the very, very least
    you'll take for it and see what happens. If it doesn't sell, you can
    always re-list.

    MCN? I'd put it in MCN at the same time, at a higher price. Maybe 15%
    more than your Ebay start price. If it sells through MCN while the
    Ebay auction is running, just cancel the auction.

    Bike Trader and MCN Bikemart. If it doesn't sell through one it'll sell
    through the other. The SV took under 2 weeks to shift.

    Thats something of a generalisation. It depends on:

    Model
    Price
    Location
    Time of year

    Obviously trying to sell any sidecar outfit or parts anywhere south of
    Coventry right now for anything under a grand is a piece of piss.

    good point.

    Lozzo mentioned something about someone maybe wanting it in September,
    if that comes to nothing, maybe just throw it in a ditch somewhere.

    I'll kick his arse and see if he can see you about it earlier than
    that. He'll be home in an hour or so, I'll ask him when he gets in.
