Just as I was about to offer to help you rip it apart. Be nice and I
might be able to help destroy it this Sunday if you wanted to.

while I remember, any chance of putting that indicator (if you still
    have it) in the post?

OK, if you can get it to this standard, then yes. But it'll still cost
a lot to do it (that is an exceptionally nice one), which will eat
away at your return. The tank fix and the fairing repair and the
respray/decals could rush you up to £400 alone. Less, if you know a
good friendly body shop/sprayer, mind. Paging Beav?

Not a lot less actually and that would depend on the damage (not seen any
pics of the bike in question)

Respraying a non damaged fairing and tank would cost 400 quid wherever it's
taken, so add in the repair time/cost and the none UKRM cost would easily
    reach 6-700 quid.

Paint alone typically costs around 40 quid per litre and that's just for the
colour. Primer is somewhat less expensive, but still needed and then there's
the lacquer. Good quality lacquer is around the 80 quid per litre mixed.
There's not a lot of money in resprays, that (the money) comes from the
    pissy little panel repair jobs.

A pal of mine did/does that with his VFR and not only once, but so far it's
been 4 times. His V5 STILL says the bike is red, but it's been black for
over 4 years. He writes and tells the DVLA ever year when the tax is due.

I think that the MOT station can update details like colour online. He
could ask next time he's having it MOTed.

How can you tell from that picture that they're not natural?

I'm not saying they aren't, and it's a high probability that they are,
but they look prefectly fine to me!

I've definitely got it somewhere, though it may have gravitated toward
the garage by now. Bung me an address by email and I'll dig out the
    indicator and a jiffy bag.

So long as 'delicate' isn't a requirement.

7R engines make a bit of noise as they drop from the frame onto a
    concrete floor.

  13. Imo, her right funbag has that not-quite-natural, stuffed with a
    silicone insert look.

And the shadow on the same fun bag doesn't look kosher either, although why
anyone would Photoshop the woman and leave the background like it is, is
    anyone's guess.

VN 750 engiones make a bigger noise when the fall off the trolley jack, but
being K.H.I. they seem well able to take the abuse. And all without a
    Bonners input.
