    My old man's building yard [1] had a fenceless boundary with a haulage
    yard which is now the site of a big luxury house. [2]
    The haulage firm dumped hundreds of tone of waste from the local lead
    mine to make hard standings there.

    It all makes sense now I suppose........


    1. that we played in when we were kids.
    2. The haulage yard bit that is.
