Poppy used to do that. I think the idea is that you go outside with
her and then clean up as soon as she's done her business. Lots of
positive 'good girl' reinforcement is good followed by swift use of
the patented Shit Shovel comes in handy. She might try to beat you to
using the shit shovel by eating it herself but once you've shouted at
her enough when she tries to do it then she'll stop. Otherwise it
just becomes a bit of a habit.
