Having looked around, I can save around £60pa by switching to Atlantic Gas
& Electric. Anyone using them and are they any better than the rest?
Also, has anyone used uswitch to do the changeover?

According to the latest e-mail from www.moneysavingexpert.com,
now is not a very good time to switch. The advice is to wait 4-6
weeks and do a comparison once all of the suppliers have
followed BG and put their prices up too.

  4. I used to be with them and had no problems.

I moved to Powergen last year as they do:

A 'manage on the interweb' package and Atlantic expected me to ring one
of those 0870 numbers to change my direct debit details, which I object
to strongly, being a northerner and all.
    They give Tesco Clubcard points
They were still one of the 'better deals'

    YMMV

    *Ding* too.

I switched shortly before the previous round of price rises. Made
****-all difference moneywise because a week later all the supposed
savings disappeared into thin air, but at least I'm supposed to get
    'greener' energy now.

We went through all this shite here several years ago. In the end the
companies went tango uniform and we were all fucked by the energy
    traders (enron).

Well, we're just being fucked over by international companies. Doesn't
exactly make much of a difference...
